Lutheran-Northeast wins going away against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge

Recap: Lutheran-Northeast Eagles vs. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears

The Lutheran-Northeast Eagles can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge as Lutheran-Northeast made off with a 57-33 win. Lutheran-Northeast pushed the score to 37-17 by the end of the third, a deficit Laurel-Concord-Coleridge had little chance of recovering from.

Josh Rojas was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and five steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for 16 straight games. Braden Feddern was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five steals.

Despite the loss, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge still got an impressive performance from Carter Kvols, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kolby Hansen, who scored four points along with six blocks.

Lutheran-Northeast's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutheran-Northeast will take on Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] on Friday. As for Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Wisner-Pilger at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wisner-Pilger will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 260th, while Laurel-Concord-Coleridge is ranked 126th).
