Baseball Recap: Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Comes Up Short

It looked like the Kentucky Derby when Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts faced off against Parkrose on Tuesday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 6-5. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 6-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2015.

Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Parkrose, with the win, they broke their 12-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-15.

While Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
