Calhoun County is a perfect 7-0 against Orangeburg-Wilkinson since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Calhoun County Saints are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will face off against the Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins at 6:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Calhoun County is leaving town to face Orangeburg-Wilkinson after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Calhoun County lost 8-1 to Andrew Jackson Academy on Saturday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Calhoun County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dea'Vontae Cannon, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI. Alec Nichols was another, scoring a run and stealing Two bases.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Orangeburg-Wilkinson's offense. They fell 5-0 to Orangeburg Prep on Monday.

Calhoun County skirted past Orangeburg-Wilkinson 15-14 in their previous matchup back in March of 2023. Will Calhoun County repeat their success, or does Orangeburg-Wilkinson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
