Flag Football Recap: Richards Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Richards's offense. They came up short against the Shepard Astros on Monday, falling 26-0. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Astros earlier this season, when they won 18-14.

Richards dropped their record down to 5-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those road defeats can't be blamed on the team's defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.7 points on average over those games. As for Shepard, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Richards does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shepard, they will face off against Romeoville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
