Mountain View-Gotebo entered their tilt with Merritt on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Oilers by a score of 12-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2019.

Mountain View-Gotebo's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Merritt, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View-Gotebo will host Canute at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Canute's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Mountain View-Gotebo's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Merritt, they will be playing at home against Hollis at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
