Volleyball Recap: Deer Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Deer Valley lost against Heritage back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolverines lost 3-0 to the Patriots. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9, 25-14.

Paris Williams paced Deer Valley's offense, picking up four kills. Williams got some help from Gabriella Duarte and her five assists. Finally, Williams was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Deer Valley's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Heritage, they pushed their record up to 15-9 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Deer Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Antioch on the 21st. As for Heritage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Vacaville Christian on the 18th.
