Baseball Recap: Nelson Wins Going Away Against Idaho Falls

Nelson won against Doherty last Monday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Nelson blew past the Idaho Falls Tigers 12-4. The result was nothing new for Nelson, who have now won three games by eight runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Nelson and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Idaho Falls, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Nelson will face off against Denver Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Denver Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Nelson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Idaho Falls, they will take on Crismon at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Crismon's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Idaho Falls' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
