Basketball Recap: Treasure Coast Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Treasure Coast had won five straight at home, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 12-9 to make it six. They came out on top against the Cocoa Tigers by a score of 56-45. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Titans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Tigers are ranked 608th).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Treasure Coast to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hallen Telemaque, who posted six points and four steals. What's more, Telemaque posted two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2025. Another player making a difference was Antonio Johnson, who earned ten points.

As for Cocoa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points over those games.

Cocoa's loss came despite strong showings from Antonio Adderley and Shakim Pierce. Adderley shot 56% from the field on his way to 11 points and six rebounds, while Pierce put up six points and five boards. Adderley is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last three games he's played.

Treasure Coast wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-42 loss against Suncoast on the 30th. As for Cocoa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-53 defeat against Rockledge on the 30th.
