Football Game Preview: Round Valley Elks vs. Crismon Rattlers + Official Tickets

The Round Valley Elks will face off against the Crismon Rattlers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Round Valley is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

Round Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Seton Catholic 41-14. The result was nothing new for the Elks, who have now won eight matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Kage Finch, who threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 84 yards and one TD on only 11 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Round Valley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 179 rushing yards in nine consecutive games.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Round Valley's defense and their four sacks. Jaxon Crick was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Another thorn in Seton Catholic's side was Jeffery Cochran, who made eight total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Crismon beat Blue Ridge 30-26 on Friday.

Crismon's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Round Valley, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
