Baseball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-3 to the Bonneville Bees. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bobcats have suffered since March 21st.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Bonneville, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Madison will welcome Thunder Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Bonneville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Idaho Falls at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.31 runs per game on average), something the Bees will no doubt try to take advantage of.
