Recap: Yuma Criminals vs. Cibola Raiders
The Yuma Criminals managed to keep up with the Cibola Raiders until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Yuma was beaten by Cibola 70-39. Yuma was down 54-30 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
When it comes to explaining why Yuma lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nick Amador. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Amador has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Reggie Antone, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Yuma's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Cibola, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.
Yuma does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cibola also has no future games currently scheduled.
