Basketball Recap: Ames Skates Past Marshalltown with Ease

Ames came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 61-30 victory over the Marshalltown Bobcats. With the Little Cyclones ahead 39-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Ames' win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Marshalltown, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-12.
