Smithton won the last time they faced Eugene and things went their way on Monday too. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14, 21-25, 25-15.

Aubree Huddleston paced Smithton's offense, picking up 13 kills. Huddleston got some help from Drew Bray and her 17 assists. Huddleston was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Smithton's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Eugene, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Smithton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Windsor on the 30th. As for Eugene, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Blair Oaks on the 30th.
