Soccer Recap: St. Andrews-Sewanee Takes a Loss

St. Andrews-Sewanee lost against Boyd-Buchanan back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mountain Lions fell 2-0 to the Buccaneers. While losing is never fun, St. Andrews-Sewanee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 209th, while Boyd-Buchanan are ranked 32nd).

St. Andrews-Sewanee dropped their record down to 2-5-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Boyd-Buchanan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2-1.

Coming up, St. Andrews-Sewanee will head out to challenge Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boyd-Buchanan, they will welcome Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
