Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Salem). They walked away with an 87-76 win over the Sprague Olympians on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Saxons' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Olympians are ranked 15th).

The win made it two in a row for South Salem and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for Sprague, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Salem and North Salem will meet in a classic North v. South matchup at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sprague, they will face off against Lake Oswego at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
