Fountain Valley entered their tilt with Magnolia on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sentinels.

While Fountain Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 23-14.

Fountain Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Magnolia, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fountain Valley will take on Santa Fe at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Magnolia, they will face off against La Quinta at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
