Baseball Recap: Seven Straight Road Victories for Clarence

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clarence). They were the clear victors by a 20-1 margin over the West Seneca West Warhawks on Wednesday. The Red Devils have beaten the Warhawks the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Warhawks has come to flipping the script.

Clarence's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for West Seneca West, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarence will welcome St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West Seneca West, they will be playing at home against Lancaster at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
