Volleyball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Thurston Colts. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Colts this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss back in September.

Springfield's record is now 7-15-1. As for Thurston, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 9-11 record.

Springfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Crater on the 23rd. As for Thurston, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against North Eugene on the 23rd.
