If Calvary Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 12-1 takedown of Nova last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost 15-7 to the Somerset Academy Panthers on Wednesday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Calvary Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Mittauer, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Parker Lee was another, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Calvary Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Somerset Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-10-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian Academy will face off against Boca Raton Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Blazers at the right time seeing as the Blazers are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Somerset Academy, they will take on Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
