Volleyball Recap: Highland Victorious

Highland took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Timberline, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rams won by a set and slipped past the Wolves 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since August 26th.

Highland took Timberline into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 25-18, 20-25, 17-25, 27-25, 15-8.

Highland can attribute much of their success to Britt Reno, who had 13 assists and five digs. Reno has been hot, having posted 13 or more assists the last five times she's played.

Highland was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Highland and bumps their season record up to 11-15. As for Timberline, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highland will host Canyon Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Timberline, they will challenge Meridian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
