Basketball Game Preview: Odessa Ducks vs. Caesar Rodney Riders

The Odessa Ducks and the Caesar Rodney Riders will compete for holiday cheer at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Odessa has three straight wins, Caesar Rodney has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Thursday, Odessa made easy work of Hodgson Vo-Tech and carried off a 73-48 victory. Fans of the Ducks have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, Caesar Rodney lost to Cape Henlopen on the road by a 63-44 margin on Thursday.

Odessa's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Caesar Rodney, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Odessa came out on top in a nail-biter against Caesar Rodney in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, sneaking past 55-53. Does Odessa have another victory up their sleeve, or will Caesar Rodney turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
