Volleyball Recap: Boca Raton Christian Takes a Loss

Boca Raton Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Broward Prep Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 4th.

Hannah Vanzwieten paced Boca Raton Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Vanzwieten got some help from Mackenzi Vanzwieten and her 13 assists.

North Broward Prep can attribute much of their success to Destiny Wiggins, who had 11 digs and two aces. Wiggins is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Boca Raton Christian now has a losing record of 7-8. As for North Broward Prep, their win bumped their record up to 13-2.

Boca Raton Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against King's Academy on the 25th. As for North Broward Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Calvary Christian Academy on the 24th.
