Softball Game Preview: East Henderson Eagles vs. Smoky Mountain Mustangs

East Henderson hasn't had much luck against Smoky Mountain recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. East Henderson has given up an average of 12.7 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for East Henderson's offense. They lost 15-0 to Pisgah on Tuesday. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

East Henderson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Malea Bailey, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one double.

Meanwhile, Smoky Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 10-5 to Tuscola.

Smoky Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for East Henderson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.
