Soccer Game Preview: Belleview vs. Springstead

The Belleview Rattlers will head out to take on the Springstead Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Belleview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They never let Lecanto get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Belleview as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Luis Hernandez was the driving force of Belleview's attack as he scored both of Belleview's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Meanwhile, Springstead won against Wiregrass Ranch last Monday with three goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again last Thursday. The Eagles came out on top against The Villages Charter by a score of 3-1. Springstead haven't had any issues with The Villages Charter recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Springstead's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Belleview, their win bumped their record up to 4-10-2.
