Football Recap: Pittsford Sets Scoring Season-High Against Rush-Henrietta

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pittsford). They enjoyed a cozy 35-21 victory over the Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets on Friday. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 28-17 win the Royal Comets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Rush-Henrietta still got an impressive performance from Imani Wagstaff, who rushed for 187 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Wagstaff really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.

Pittsford now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Rush-Henrietta, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Pittsford wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 27-21 defeat against Penfield on the 10th. As for Rush-Henrietta, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-0 victory against Fairport on the 11th.
