Meanwhile, Starpoint scored the most points they've had all season to find success back in January. They were the clear victor by a 60-40 margin over West Seneca West. That looming 60-40 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Starpoint yet this season.
Amherst Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Starpoint, their win bumped their record up to an identical 1-4.
Everything came up roses for Amherst Central against the Spartans when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 66-38 victory. Will Amherst Central repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
