Softball Recap: Oak Creek Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oak Creek can now relate to. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kenosha Bradford Red Devils on Thursday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Rita Sippy was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run.

Oak Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Kenosha Bradford, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 27-1.

As of now, neither Oak Creek nor the Red Devils have any future games scheduled.
