Soccer Game Preview: Sports Leadership & Management vs. Mater Biscayne Academy

The Sports Leadership & Management Wolves will face off against the Mater Biscayne Academy Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Sports Leadership & Management's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over iMater Charter. Considering Wolves have won five games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit iMater Charter with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Eduardo Araquemachado, Juan Padilla, and Lucas Villa.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Mater Biscayne Academy brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Everything went their way against Pinecrest Glades Academy back in December of 2024 as Mater Biscayne Academy made off with a 4-1 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Sports Leadership & Management has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those six games. As for Mater Biscayne Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
