The Eastside Blazers will face off against the Manchester Squires at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Eastside is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 48-0 win over Whitko. Winning may never get old, but the Blazers sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Eastside relied on the efforts of Job Richman, who rushed for 92 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries, and Noah Dove, who gained 111 total yards and three touchdowns. Richman is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last four games he's played.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Eastside was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 254 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 154 rushing yards in 19 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Eastside, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Dove, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Manchester never let their opponents score on Friday. They breezed past Prairie Heights to the tune of 42-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Squires just coasted through the last quarter.
Eastside better keep an eye on Eli Metzger. He was instrumental in Manchester's win, picking up 40 receiving yards and two touchdowns. That's the most receiving touchdowns Metzger has posted since back in October of 2024.
Manchester's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Eastside, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
Everything went Eastside's way against Manchester in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, as Eastside made off with a 42-21 victory. In that game, the Blazers amassed a halftime lead of 35-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
