Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Paradise Valley). They blew past the Buckeye Hawks 80-59 on Monday. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Hawks are ranked 279th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Paradise Valley is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Buckeye, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season.

Paradise Valley will take on North Canyon at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Paradise Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully North Canyon likes a good challenge. As for Buckeye, they will face off against Youngker at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
