Softball Game Recap: Attica Red Ramblers vs. North Vermillion Falcons

After flying high against Faith Christian on Tuesday, Attica came back down to earth. The Red Ramblers wound up with the same score they had in their last game (13-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Maddie Beck was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Katelynn Driver, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Attica has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for North Vermillion, their record now sits at 5-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Falcons beat Attica by a score of 19-3 later that day.
