Basketball Recap: Homestead Comes Up Short

The Homestead Broncos came up short against the Westminster Christian Warriors on Friday, falling 81-61.

Westminster Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brendan Fragela out in front who shot 50% from the field to rack up 24 points. Another player making a difference was Marcos Escobar, who put up 13 points and seven assists.

Homestead's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Westminster Christian, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Homestead has already played their next matchup, a 71-56 loss against Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech on the 28th. As for Westminster Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-59 defeat against Palmer Trinity on the 24th.
