Volleyball Recap: Plainfield South Comes Up Short

Plainfield South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Joliet West Tigers. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10.

Plainfield South's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Joliet West, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 26-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Plainfield South is set to square off against their familiar foe Plainfield East at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Joliet West will face off against rival Minooka at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
