Preview: Turpin Cardinals vs. Shattuck Indians

Last Tuesday, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Turpin had to settle for a 64-62 defeat against Texhoma. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Turpin in their matchups with Texhoma: they've now lost seven in a row.
Turpin's defeat came about despite a quality game from Bryson Parker, who scored 32 points. Parker scored a full 51.6% of Turpin's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Peters, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Shattuck was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Sharon-Mutual 65-32 on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Shattuck.
Turpin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Shattuck, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
