Highlands is 7-2 against Lanier since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Highlands Owls will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lanier Voks at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Highlands has five straight wins, Lanier has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Last Tuesday, Highlands was able to grind out a solid victory over Fox Tech, taking the game 3-1.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Lanier was not quite Highlands' equal in the second half back in January. They lost 5-0 to the Owls.

Highlands' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four matches. As for Lanier, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything went Highlands' way against Lanier in their previous meeting back in January, as Highlands made off with a 5-0 victory. Will Highlands repeat their success, or does Lanier have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
