With a playoff win on the line, Troy Christian rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They strolled past the Covington Buccs with points to spare, taking the game 44-25. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 50-47 win back in January.

Troy Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points over those games. Covington is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.
