Basketball Recap: Coleman Comes Up Short

If Coleman was riding high fresh off their 49-27 takedown of Colorado last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Coleman Bluecats were beaten by the San Saba Armadillos 66-39 on Friday. The Bluecats haven't had much luck with the Armadillos recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Coleman's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for San Saba, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coleman will welcome Bangs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Saba, they will square off against Junction at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in San Saba's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Junction has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
