Basketball Recap: Boynton Beach Comes Up Short

Boynton Beach lost against Dwyer back in January of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Boynton Beach Tigers took a 48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dwyer Panthers. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 13-8 in the first quarter.

Dwyer got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was C'Orna Greene out in front who went 5 for 9 en route to 12 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Liz Lynskey, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 12 points.

Boynton Beach has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Dwyer, their record is now 8-11.

Boynton Beach has already played their next contest (against Atlantic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dwyer won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Santaluces at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
