Basketball Recap: East Dubuque Continues Home Dominance on Friday

East Dubuque won against Stockton last Wednesday with 72 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The East Dubuque Warriors enjoyed a cozy 72-55 win over the Scales Mound Hornets. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won four in a row.

Scales Mound's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Derrick Distler, who went 6-for-14 to rack up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Van Lent, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.
