Basketball Recap: Skyline Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Skyline had won three straight home games and Shay Shippen did her part to make it four on Friday. The Skyline Grizzlies walked away with a 50-43 victory over the Hillcrest Knights thanks in part to Shippen, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played.

Skyline has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Hillcrest, they moved to 10-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Skyline will welcome Blackfoot at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.7 points per game this season. As for Hillcrest, they will square off against Shelley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest is facing Shelley at the right time seeing as Shelley is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
