For the first time this season, Providence will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with a 12-0 win. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Providence pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.4 runs. As for Charlotte Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
