On Tuesday, Cranford never let their opponents score. They put the hurt on the Johnson Crusaders with a sharp 8-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cranford also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Cranford got a great performance from Joseph Paccione as he didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Cranford let Michael Tripodi and Dylan Falk loose on the outfield. Tripodi got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, a triple, and a run, while Falk scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Patrick Bendert was another key contributor, going 1-for-2 with a home run and two runs.

Cranford's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Johnson, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
