Volleyball Game Preview: Burncoat Patriots vs. North Polar Bears

The Burncoat Patriots are taking a road trip to square off against the North Polar Bears at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Burncoat is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Whitinsville Christian just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crusaders.

Meanwhile, North lost 3-0 to Douglas on Wednesday.

North's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Burncoat, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3.

Burncoat took their win against North when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Polar Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
