Softball Recap: Cashmere Comes Up Short

Cashmere's last matchup with Kittitas could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Coyotes, falling 16-9. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Coyotes from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Cashmere and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Kittitas, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2-1.

Coming up, Cashmere will welcome Naches Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rangers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Kittitas, they will venture away from home to face off against Granger at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Coyotes will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least ten runs in their last five matches.
