It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Athenian can now relate to. They fell 4-1 to the Swett Warriors on Wednesday. The Owls' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Athenian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Poage, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That stolen base marked the first that Poage has snagged this season.

Athenian's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Swett, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Athenian nor Swett have any future games scheduled.
