Football Recap: Lyndhurst Falls to Westwood in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Lyndhurst unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 34-14 to the Westwood Cardinals on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Golden Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 213th, while the Cardinals are ranked 36th).

Looking ahead, Lyndhurst will square off against New Milford at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Westwood, they will welcome Pascack Valley at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
