Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Kitsap). They were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over the Olympic Trojans on Wednesday. With that victory, the Vikings brought their scoring average up to 6.9 runs per game.
North Kitsap got a big performance out of Spencer Gillespie, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI and one double. That double was Gillespie's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Tate Stearns, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.
