Soccer Recap: Marvin Ridge Starts Season with Win on the Road

Marvin Ridge had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let the Providence Day Chargers get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Marvin Ridge haven't had any issues with Providence Day recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Marvin Ridge hit Providence Day with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Colton Perkins (2), Haiden Ratike, and Davis Tackett.

Looking ahead, Marvin Ridge is taking a road trip to square off against Cox Mill at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Providence Day, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Norman Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
