Basketball Recap: Pitt County P Takes a Loss

Pitt County P was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were beaten by New Bern Christian Academy 64-10. The matchup marked the Pacers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

They used a three-pronged attack on offense: Finn Tugwell, Landon Pike, and Jayden Coghill posted three points each.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Bern Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than KC Peter, who posted 11 points. What's more, Peter also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Luke Puchalski was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to five rebounds and five steals.

Pitt County P's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for New Bern Christian Academy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Pitt County P has already played their next game (against Coastal Brigade), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. New Bern Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 44-38 victory against Trinity Christian on the 10th.
