Santa Teresa and Aptos are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Santa Teresa Saints will square off against the Aptos Mariners at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aptos took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Santa Teresa, who comes in off a win.

Santa Teresa took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They skirted past Sequoia 5-3. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Ravens recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Santa Teresa got a great performance from Micah DeLap as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. What's more, DeLap gave up only two walks, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, David Medina was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. Jordan Hsieh also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Aptos' offense. They fell just short of Los Gatos by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Mariners' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

Aptos' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Santa Teresa, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Santa Teresa skirted past Aptos 6-4 in their previous matchup back in March of 2022. Will Santa Teresa repeat their success, or does Aptos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
